Bridgen working to improve the Underground
Bridgen (Rail) Maintenance Ltd are working with Tubelines by providing sub-contract labour resource to Northern Line Track for the purposes of TBTC works.
This project consists of substantive works on the installation of a new signalling system for the Northern Line. Works on this project will continue for approximately 24 months and will involve considerable interaction with the track asset. In order to reduce the impact of routine maintenance activities on the project program, Northern Line Track have engaged Bridgen for the purposes of Project Enabling Works.
Bridgen will be required to undertake maintenance activities, primarily including, but not limited to, manual and train supported scrap removal, rectification of TRV (Track Recording Vehicle) faults, (twist, top, line, etc), minor renewals of plain line and P & C, spot re-sleepering, heavy/light fettling, and formation/drainage repair including the removal of wet beds.
