Thameslink Programme
In June 2009 Bridgen (Rail) Maintenance Ltd successfully secured Network Rail “Possession Management” Contracts for the following Depots:
- Ashford
- London Bridge
- Tottenham
- Saltley
- Sandwell & Dudley
- Eastleigh
and were additionally appointed “Second Tier Suppliers” for all other Depots nationwide.
We are therefore delighted to announce that in May 2010 they were awarded the Network Rail Contract for "Possession Management on the Thameslink Programme".
The prinicpal objective of the Thameslink Programme is to provide the infrastructure to enable a major expansion of cross-London services on the Thameslink route, which has experienced very substantial demand growth in recent years. These works will continue until 2012.
