Welding Teams
Bridgen's rapidly expanding Welding Division has depots in Harrow, Stockport and Worksop. All Bridgen rail welders are fully certified and hold full competency in their core skills.
Our Head of Welding is responsible for ensuring that all welding activities carried out by Bridgen Group are in compliance with the following Network Rail Company Standards
NR/SP/TRK/032 - The joining of Rails by Aluminothermic Welding and NR/SP/TRK/132 - Weld repair of Rails.
Our welding services include Thermit SKV F Normal Grade Group Rails, Thermit SKV F Wide Gap L 80, Thermit SKV F Conductor Rail (Not Aluminium), Thermit SKV F Heat Treated Rails, Railtech PLA Normal Grade Group Rails, Manual Metal Arc Normal Grade Group Rails, Crossing Maintenance and Repair, Rail Head Defect Repair, Manual Metal Arc Cast and Rolled Manganese Rails, Crossing Maintenance and Repair, Rail Head Defect Repair.
